We opened our doors 31-years ago in Danville, California.
Family Owned and Operated Since 1993
Our founders are husband and wife Bob and Kristen who have been building local businesses in the Bay Area for over 60 years. It was in 1993 they decided to open their first restaurant, and Ascona Pizza Company was born.
We hand-make our dough daily, using our secret family recipe, and every ingredient we use is the highest quality available.
We want to provide our customers with the best pizza and customer service, where our staff knows your family as well as we know your favorite pizza.
What does Ascona mean?
Located on the northeast shore of Lake Maggiore, and bordered on two sides by Italy and Switzerland, is the tiny resort Village of Ascona. While it is not famous for its pizza, it is our favorite place to vacation.
100-year-old purple Wisteria hangs from the balconies of small hotels that border the lake. Meals at sidewalk cafes, walks along the lake shore, meeting people from around the world, village houses made of stone, chimneys with wood fire smoke and cobbled paths leading in and out of small alleys lined with quaint shops and old churches, are just part of Ascona.
We hope you enjoy our hand tossed pizza dough, and our cheese is the best Wisconsin whole mozzarella cheese available. We guarantee our meats to be of excellent quality, including a first class selection of sausages and the freshest vegetables available.
